Mei-ling Hom's public art installations completed in 2010 and 2011 can be seen at the Philadelphia International Airport and the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Also pictured below - commissioned installation for the Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC (2005) entitled Floating Mountains Singing Clouds, and Mei-ling's first public art commission for the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA (1994) entitled, ChinaWedge.

Her commissioned installation "Floating Mountains Singing Clouds" was exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington in 2005. One of her earliest commissions is the China Wedge at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
